Italchimica integrates Artificial Intelligence as a driver of growth and competitiveness
From team training to pilot projects in R&D, supply chain and customer care: AI becomes part of corporate processes to generate long-term value.
(Padova, Italy) – Italchimica has launched a strategic programme to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its business processes, with the goal of strengthening its competitiveness through operational speed, organisational efficiency, and transparency in technology use.
The project, developed with the support of Integra Solutions, a communication and digital marketing agency led by Francesco Ferro, involved more than two-thirds of employees in a training and experimentation programme on the use of AI in business processes. The aim is to build an informed company culture and identify practical applications that enhance speed, efficiency, and long-term value creation.
“In a competitive market like ours, dominated by large multinationals, Italchimica focuses on speed, efficiency, and adaptability. The adoption of AI is a strategic lever to strengthen our identity as a dynamic company oriented towards value creation,” said Alessandro Fioretto, CEO of Italchimica and a key promoter of the initiative.
From training to tangible impact: AI as a growth driver
The initiative is already taking shape through pilot projects across key business areas — from research and development to marketing, from supply chain to customer service — with the aim of integrating generative and predictive AI tools. These tools will accelerate the development of new formulations through the automated analysis of laboratory data and market trends; optimise production process management and reduce planning and quality control times; and enhance customer service and communication with intelligent response and personalised assistance systems. AI will also make document and administrative management more efficient, reducing errors and improving internal traceability.
In the short term, Italchimica aims to improve team productivity and decision quality through the automation of repetitive tasks and real-time data use. In the long run, AI is expected to become a continuous innovation engine, capable of reducing time-to-market and supporting more agile and predictive strategies.
“At Integra Solutions, our mission has always been to bring practical innovation to businesses.
With AI for REAL, our dedicated unit, we help organisations integrate Artificial Intelligence in a simple, useful, and sustainable way, turning it into value for people and business. Together with Italchimica, we are building a culture focused on continuous improvement and the responsible use of AI as a tool for enhancing excellence,” commented Francesco Ferro, CEO of Integra Solutions.
Special attention is given to transparency and to the ethical and legal implications of AI, ensuring a clear and shared approach to data use, privacy, and technological governance.
With this initiative, Italchimica consolidates its commitment to responsible innovation, investing in skills and technologies that generate measurable value for the company, its people, and the environment.
