We monitor and share our progress through the Sustainability Report. This section contains all our Sustainability Reports, together with practical summary leaflets presenting the most relevant highlights.

By 2027, our goal is to increase this share to 20%, also through other sources of green energy.
Social responsibility
We invest in people’s growth and in the quality of work.
Health and safety at work.
We protect the people who works with us. Safe working environments, clear procedures and continuous training: we believe that occupational health and safety is our primary responsibility.
Continued growth of our company team.
+8% jobs that meet appropriate standards of inclusiveness and workplace safety and health.
Training and employee development.
We invest in technical and managerial training to enhance every talent, support individual development and foster a culture of responsibility.
Staff stability.
Italchimica believes that it is essential to offer stable positions with opportunities for internal growth. In 2024, 96% of employees had a permanent contract.

Ethics and responsibility.
The Model 231 as a guiding framework.
Responsible governance guides the company’s operations. Italchimica has adopted the Model 231, a robust corporate management system designed to help ensure legality, transparency and ethical conduct across all areas of the business. It supports the prevention of unlawful conduct and promotes a responsible, fair and transparent working environment.
A structured system to ensure transparency and integrity.
In 2026, Italchimica will voluntarily move from GRI reporting to the CSRD framework (the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) taking a further step forward in terms of transparency and governance. Sustainability reporting will be integrated into the management report in accordance with the European ESRS standards and the double materiality principle. The analysis of impacts, risks and opportunities will also involve the entire value chain, supported by strengthened oversight that directly includes the Board of Directors as well as the company’s management functions.
Climate city contract.
The City of Padua has embarked on a journey to achieve climate neutrality by 2030. Italchimica is among the stakeholders that have signed the Climate City Contract, which brings together commitments to reduce emissions across the local area. Its aim is to make Padua a more sustainable, innovative and inclusive city through a major collective effort.
Local community relations and commitment to future generations.
Through a programme of meetings with chemistry schools in the Padua area, Italchimica promotes direct dialogue with students. The aim is to guide them towards qualified technical careers, transparently explain what it means to work for a company in the chemical sector, and strengthen the relationship between business, schools and the local community.
